Model E6155 - Heavy Duty Orbital Shaker

Eberbach’s large capacity Variable-Speed Orbital Shakers are designed for rotary swirling action and is used for bioprocessing of plant cell cultures, large batch mammalian cell culturing, aeration of fermentations and various other chemical mixing procedures.

The orbital motion of the E6155 ensures efficient liquid mixing. The E6155 allows high oxygen transfer rates with low shear forces not seen with other bio-reactors which use propellers or impellers. The E6155 reduces stress on cells thanks to the swirling action of the shaker. This motion is particularly suitable for cell cultivation and fermentation. The E6155 uses Eberbach unique balanced bearing plates for a long lasting smooth operation, repeatable motion with accurate control of the orbital speed and time duration.

When used with optional biochemical sensors, the E6155 is ideal for scale-up fermentation, cultivation and bio processing applications. The base is designed to be moved with a forklift or pallet jack. The E6155 uses Eberbach’s own controller which has a digital tachometer along with digital countdown timer and optional audible end of cycle alarm. The digital countdown timer can be selected for timed operation or turned off for constant operation.  The eccentric drive is counterbalanced to assure smooth acceleration and minimal bearing wear for increased life of the machine.  Speed is continuously variable between from 30 - 300 rpm or with the Eberbach controller you can program your specific speed.  The E6155 comes factory set with a 2” (5 cm) orbit, if your application requires a different orbit size we can offer alternative sizes.

The E6155 can be supplied with multiple optional features; remote control box mounted to a pendant with castors or as a wall mount box, Sanitary models (stainless steel with IP67 rated motor), hazardous location models (explosion-proof), custom top platforms and more.
