Description
Eberbach's Single-Use Mixers (SUM) are built for impeller free mixing of single-use bags. Instead of mixing only around an impeller tip, it creates vessel-scale circulation that keeps solids suspended while minimizing shear and bubble formation, protecting sensitive proteins. Without an internal impeller, bags are simpler and less expensive to produce, and failure modes like seizure, magnetic decoupling, and bearing wear are eliminated. An integrated load cell lets operators monitor fill and batch weight in real time, and the stainless steel mobile cart with locking casters and push handles makes it easy to move between process areas. With speeds of 15-250 RPM, a standard 2" orbit (other orbits available), and multiple electrical configurations, it suits upstream and downstream applications such as media preparation, buffer dilution, pH adjustment, and final formulation.
