The E6140 is a powerful low-profile orbital shaker, designed for rotary swirling action and used for bioprocessing of plant cell cultures, mammalian cell culturing, aeration in fermentations and various other chemical mixing procedures. The E6140.IN orbital shaker is designed to be used in high humidity/CO2 incubators. Measuring 23"L x 21.3"W x 8"H The E6140.IN shaker is suitable for use in laboratory incubators or walk-in warm rooms.

The shaker features a 100W brushless DC motor, digital tachometer/timer and a gentle start-up cycle to insure that glassware stays where it belongs. The eccentric drive is counterbalanced for smooth acceleration and extended bearing life. The speed range is 30-320 rpm with a maximum load of 70 lbs. The E6140 can be ordered with a 1” or 2” orbit and can be fitted with a double tiered flask platform to maximize throughput in large upright incubators.

Accessory platform (E6140.A.TP), Perforated platform for flask holders (E6140.A.P) and box carrier (E6140.A.UB) are sold separately. Designed to withstand the environment of a high humidity CO2 incubator and environmental chambers. Please contact us for integration into automation systems and robots for loading and unloading.
